MOVING DAY ~ Our St. Vincent de Paul Society is moving to the old Villa Restaurant on Tuesday, October 26 at 9:30 AM. Women and men are needed to make it a smooth transition.

 

ADULT EDUCATION CLASS ~ An excellent tape presented by Rev. Robert E. Barron on “Conversion” continues upstairs in our parish hall. All are invited to attend. Class time is 9:40-11:00 AM.

 

FALL FAMILY FUN ~ Come one, come all! Sunday, October 31 from 2:00-4:00 PM in our parish hall for games, prizes, snacks and fellowship. Please sign-up.

 

DIOCESAN LITURGY WORKSHOP 2010 ~ Marked With Divinity: “Rite” in Christ~ Nationally recognized speaker, Rita Thiron, will deliver this workshop exploring the paschal character and richness of the Rites from the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Saturday, November 6th, 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. at Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center, Cambridge ,OH. Contact the parish office to register 330-627-4664. DEADLINE IS MONDAY. Car pooling is a possibility.

OUR PRAYERS to the family of  Jessica (Jessie) Glasser. Jessie, 87, died in Steubenville on Wednesday, October 13th.

OUR PRAYERS ~ We have learned of the death of  Thelma (Pennie) Esker’s son Donald who passed away August 30th. May Donald and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.

PASTORAL COUNCIL MINUTES ~ Copies of October’s pastoral council meeting are available at the doors. Additional copies of its Constitution, and the Parish Readiness Report are there as well.

 

THE PRAYER CHAIN has been and continues to be a tremendous asset to our parish. Would you like to be a part of this ministry? MILITARY and COLLEGE STUDENTS ADDRESSES ~ Do you have someone away from home? Please let us know their name & military/school/email address so we can keep in touch with them through the year.

 

STORE HOURS: ST.VINCENT DE PAUL & LOAVES & FISHES are open 2nd & 4th Monday of every month from 12-2PM. And the 4th Monday in the evening 7-7:30 PM. The SHARING BREAD meals at the Presbyterian Church on N.
