ADORATION ~ We will have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament the First Friday of Advent. Maybe some volunteers can fill in the blanks.
SACRAMENTAL MEETING ~ There will be a meeting for the parents of children preparing for First Reconciliation and First Communion on December 11 at 9:45 AM in the hall. This will be an informational meeting regarding the Sacramental program which begins in January.
CATHOLIC WOMEN’S CLUB ~ Our Lady of Mercy’s Catholic Women’s Club routinely supports Loaves & Fishes, Hospice, our high school graduates, the First Communion class, funeral luncheons etc. Our last fundraiser three years ago was compiling and selling a cookbook. Linda DeSimone chaired the event and indeed was worthwhile.
As you may know, each adult lady over age 18 is considered by the church to be a member of this organization. We could do even more, community wise, if each person would please respond with a $5.00 donation when the church envelopes are made available each new year. Thank you and God Bless
