AED TRAINING ~ Training on the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) will be offered on Sunday, January 29th 12:30 PM at Morges. An AED is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses the potentially life threatening cardiac arrhythmias in a patient, and is able to treat them through defibrillation, the application of electrical therapy which stops the arrhythmia, allowing the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm. With simple audio and visual commands, AEDs are designed to be simple to use for the layman and are becoming available in many public places. Please consider signing up for this important training. We are allowed to train six people and hope to do so.
