“BUILT OF LIVING STONES” We continue with our study in the second half of section two; ’The Church Building and the Sacred Rites Celebrated there.’ Everyone one is invited and encouraged to come and learn about building church. Sun. Jan 23, 3:00pm.
NEW PICTORIAL DIRECTORY ~ We are excited to announce that we are going to create a new pictorial directory of our church family. The directory will help us to connect names with faces. It will be an ideal outreach tool and will capture the history of our congregation.
Please participate! Every participating family that selects a pose for the directory will receive a free directory and a complimentary 8x10 portrait. The program is available at no cost to the church budget. Sign-ups will begin the first of February with the portrait date, Tuesday, February 22. There will be more dates in mid-May but this opportunity in February gives participants a 20% discount. There is also an additional 10% discount for seniors, military, and college students year round. Olan Mills.
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT We will begin having Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on the First Friday of each month from the end of morning Mass until 3:00PM. In order that the Blessed Sacrament not be left alone, there will be a sign-up sheet in the vestibule for adorers to register for ½ hour or more. Come, spend some quiet time, and pray with Our Lord!

DIOCESAN COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN ~ The annual 2011 Retreat will be held the weekend of Feb.26-27 at Paul VI Pastoral Center in Wheeling, WVA. Fr Petronek’s topic is “Prayers of the Mass- Models for Change”. The registration fee of $85 includes a double room and all meals. Deadline for reservations is Feb. 16.
