THE “MORE LIFE” youth group will operate the hot dog stand at Thorne’s IGA the weekend of May 27, 28 and 29th. The profits will be used to fund youth retreats and other worthwhile Christian youth events throughout the year.
We need at least one adult and two others (hopefully youth) to work in 5 hour shifts from 9:30am-2:30pm and 2:30pm to 7:30 pm that Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
Donations of hamburger would also help defray costs and increase profits if you are not able to assist.

GRAB YOUR SURFBOARD ~ SONSURF BEACH BASH VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL ~ Paddle out to ride a wave of fun and adventure June 13-17th from 9:00AM-12Noon. For all children Pre-K through 5th grade. Adults and all youth 6th grade and over are invited to be involved and help lead the programs.
YOUTH HAITI ORPHANAGE PROJECT 2011 ~ Jim Birong left for Haiti last Friday and will deliver a check in the amount of $2500 from our youth. The money will be used to care for the children in the orphanage in Haiti which we help support.
GROUP PICTURE TIME ~ Today: Altar server and Extraordinary ministers group pictures will be taken after Mass.
Next week: Choir members and lectors group pictures on Sunday, May 29th
BUILDING DESIGN NEEDS your input for what our new church building will look like. On two Sundays--June 5th and 12th immediately following the 8:30AM Mass we will be meeting in the Parish Hall with coffee & donuts.
PARISH COUNCIL NOMINATION blanks are in the pews on which we ask you to nominate four people. Please place in the collection basket. We will have elections on the weekend of May 28 and 29.
ELLEN OWEN, 94, a long time member of our parish died Tuesday morning. Our condolences and sympathy to her family and many friends.
BISHOP R. DANIEL CONLON has been appointed as Bishop of Joliet, Ill. effective July 14th. We keep him in our prayers during this difficult transition and pray to the Holy Spirit to send us a new Holy Bishop.
