OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHRISTIAN FAMILY FUN
BE REVIVED AT ALIVE ~ Atwood Lake, June 22-25 “It is our hope that you will come to ALIVE not only for the amazing concerts and outdoor fun, but also to learn, be challenged, and be changed. We are excited to offer a wide variety of seminars and workshops this year will do just that – reviving our passion for Jesus, reviving our relationships, reviving our community and world. Aside from gifted speakers on the Main Stage every evening there will be seminars throughout the week for teens, parents, men, women, worship leaders, athletes, and more plus the Family Fun Tent in the afternoons. Through amazing music, worship, teaching, and celebrating together we can not wait to see the ways that God is going to move during these four days in June.” Individual gate admission $40 per day includes all events, swimming, free parking from 9:00 AM through midnight. FAITH & FAMILY FRESTIVAL: Saturday, July 9th Come for a day of family fun at Walsh University’s Hoover Park in North Canton from 9:30-5:00pm. The day includes as afternoon concert, activities and music for kids of all ages, opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Adoration. Closing Mass at 4:00 pm. YOUNG MALE’S RETREAT/CAMPS FOR SUMMER 2011~ The main goal is to introduce a person more fully to a life of knowing Jesus. Anyone is welcome who is looking for a fun and faith-filled time and, also, is open to learning about our awesome Lord and what He may have in store for him.
Any male youth entering grades 7-9 in the fall of 2011 and interested in exploring his relationship with Our Lord and/or where the Lord might be leading him in his life is welcome to attend our first Young Person’s Camp of the summer at the Sacred Heart Retreat House in Torch, Ohio on June 26-29. The cost of the camp will be paid by our parish.
Also, any male youth entering into grades 10-12 in the fall of 2011 may attend the camp on July 24-27.You can express your interest and save a spot in the Camp by calling the Office of Vocations 740-282-3631 (ask for Peggy) or email tshannon@diosteub.org
