The “MORE LIFE” YOUTH GROUP has been given the opportunity to operate the HOT DOG STAND at Thorne’s IGA the weekend of July 9,10,&11. The profits will be used to fund the Vacation Bible School, youth retreats and other worthwhile Christian youth events throughout the year.
The booth requires at least one adult and two others (hopefully youth) to operate in 5 hour shifts from 9:30 am to 7:30pm that Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Please consider working a shift with the kids that weekend to help defray the costs of providing wholesome Christian activities for them this year. Donations of hamburger, sauerkraut or sloppy joe sauce would also help defray the costs and increase profits if you’re not able to assist.
The sign-up is in the back of the church. Contact Tony DeSimone at 627-5307 for any details or questions.
