YOUTH PROJECT ~ It’s bean soup time at the Algonguin Mill October 8, 9 and 10. Last year’s participation earned in excess of $3,200 to help fund youth programs and activities. Workers are always needed morning or afternoon for 4˝ hour shifts. A sign-up sheet is in the back of church and parking permits will be available for those working in the booth
CHILD PROTECTION TRAINING WORKSHOP ~ Teachers and aides are required to attend either session: Sunday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. OR Wednesday, September 29 at 6:30 p.m. All others are welcome to attend as well.
INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC? If you or someone you know would like to learn more about the Catholic faith, sessions will begin in mid-September. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and to learn what the Church teaches. Those who are interested are asked to contact the parish office.
MEN’S PRAYER BREAKFAST ~ Saturday, October 2, 8:00-10:30 a.m. in our parish hall. Bradden Kail from “Cross-Eyed Missions” will be the guest speaker. All men in the parish are invited to attend.

LIFE CHAIN ~ Sunday, October 3 from 2-3 p.m. As part of October’s “Respect Life” month, Life Chain invites the churches across America to stand on a designated local sidewalk & pray for one hour while holding approved pro-life sign messages. The event is coordinated by Rev. Gordon Warner in conjunction with Carroll County Right to Life. and other pro-life individuals and pastors. Carrollton’s Life Chain will be along Canton Road from Main Street to Twelfth Street. A sign up is in the back of church and signs will be available day of the event.
MILITARY and COLLEGE STUDENTS ADDRESSES ~ Do you have someone going away from home? Please let us know their name & military/school/email address so we can keep in touch with them through the school year.
STORE HOURS: ST.VINCENT DE PAUL & LOAVES & FISHES are open 2nd & 4th Monday of every month from 12-2PM. And the 4th Monday in the evening 7-7:30 PM. The SHARING BREAD meals at the Presbyterian Church on N. Lisbon St. are the 3rd and 4th Monday of each month.
THE PRAYER CHAIN has been and continues to be a tremendous asset to our parish. Would you like to be a part of this ministry?
