2010 CONTRIBUTION ENVELOPES ~ Would you like to receive envelopes? Contact the parish office as we will be assigning them soon for distribution.

 

TODAY ~ EUCHARISTIC DAY ~ Sunday there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Children will gather at 10:15. Then from 10:30 until 11:45, different grade levels will come in for individual prayer time. From 11:45 until 1:30,

there will be time for private prayer for adults. At 1:00 there will be a half

hour of prayer – litanies, spiritual reflections that will conclude with benediction.

 

GENERATIONS OF FAITH is a program designed to focus on faith formation for all ages, from young to old. Through these events, the entire parish can grow in faith together. We, as community, can learn together and pass our faith on to future generations. Please join us SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22 starting at 10AM in the church hall. This event will include FAITH SHARING and ACTIVITIES for all ages. Lunch will be provided. Please sign up.

 

YEAR OF THE PRIESTS CELEBRATION ~ Everyone is invited to attend the diocesan-wide celebration for the Year of the Priests to be held on Monday, November 30 at the Finnegan Fieldhouse, at Franciscan University of Steubenville. The celebration will begin at 4:00pm with an Afternoon Prayer, followed by a talk given by Bishop Kevin Rhoads, Bishop of the Diocese of Harrisburg. The Mass will be celebrated at 5:15pm with Bishop Conlon as the main celebrant and Bishop Rhoads giving the homily. During the Mass the Rite of Candidacy will be celebrated for several of our seminarians. Please sign up on the Year of the Priests event sheet in the vestibule. Please indicate your name and number attending and if you plan to attend the talk and Mass or Mass only.

 

NOVEMBER ~ MONTH OF REMEMBRANCE ~ During this month of   remembrance the names of our deceased family members and friends may be       placed in the basket near the altar. Slips may be found in the back of church.

            Individually and as a family, we pray for our loved ones who are no longer with us in body.

CATHOLIC CAMPAIGN FOR HUMAN DEVELOPMENT ~ “Families are struggling. Faith is calling.” CCHD works to end poverty in our country by funding low-income community groups that work for affordable, fair wages, access to health care, and other long-term solutions. 25% of the collection remains in our diocese for local anti-poverty efforts. Collection date: weekend of November 22

 

 

COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE ~ Tuesday, November 24 in the High School Fine Arts Building beginning at 7:00 PM.
