ANNUAL RIBS COOKOUT & CASINO NIGHT ~ St. James School in Waynesburg, Saturday, August 7th, in St. James Pavillon. Doors open at 5:30. The evening includes a Reverse Raffle drawing. Tickets for the Reverse Raffle are $150. A ticket includes 6 dinners, and a chance in the raffle. If you wish to attend the event and not purchase a ticket for the raffle, it is $15 and includes your dinner and drinks.
ALTAR SERVER DAY of RECOLLECTION ~ Saturday, August 21st from 9:00AM-12:30 PM at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Malvern. A pizza lunch will be provided. Mother of Hope Deanery will present a Morning of Recollection for all altar servers, presented by Mark Erste, one our diocesan deacon candidates. Mark has worked with youth of all ages and has trained altar servers in several parishes over the years. COME and learn how YOU can GROW in your SPIRITUALITY and help provide YOUR PARISH with a better worship experience while serving at Mass.
